Friday night saw the annual Merthyr RFC presentation evening held at the clubhouse. Guest speak was Roland Phillips who is now the head coach of the Welsh Women side. Nigel Davies CEO welcome the guest which included The Mayor, Local Councillors, Local P.M. and also several sponsors, JNP, Watkins coaches, and Phil Price commercial vehicles. Nigel outlined the great success of the side winning the Principality Premiership title for the 3rd conservative season and also reaching the WRU cup final for the second year running but losing out to Cardiff RFC.
