Merthyr start the defense of the premiership league title with a opening league game this Saturday on the Wern against Cross Keys. After two pre-season games against Ealing Trailfinders and Brecon RFC were the Merthyr coaching team have run their eyes over the squad as they prepare for the cross keys game. Pre-season has gone well with the squad training three times a week under the watch ful eye of fitness coach Chris Tombs and head coach Dale McIntosh and Lee Jarvis. The squad has been strengthened with Props Pete Edwards joining from LLanelli together with Joe Rees from Rotherham Ti.....
