After a couple of tough weeks of defeats today is a perfect opportunity to put things right at the Wern against a good Carmarthen outfit.
This half of the season hasn’t gone off like previous seasons unfortunately. It hasn’t seen us win after win, we have had to work even harder than the previous seasons and come short too many times which has put us in the position we are in the league. We haven’t lacked effort, desire or want of the jersey any less than previous seasons. It has been a culmination of too many mistakes, individually and as a team, but we will eliminate these and come back to winning ways.
There is plenty of quality in our squad, looking forward to young prop Rhys Lewis grow as a player. Great opportunity for him today. Hopefully we end today on a positive note and we are back to our winning ways.
From myself and the squad, we would like to thank Chris Toombs for all his efforts, coaching and humbleness over the past few seasons, and wish him all the best in his next venture.
I would like to thank you for the supporters continued support and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
