The #Ironmen make it one-a-piece in the #SteelvIron derby, courtesy of another strong first forty at the Ciner Glass Community Stadium. The Ironmen8 were dominant at the setpiece, driving Ebbw off their own ball on a number of occasions 💪🏻

A couple of strong Ironmen performances, the strongest by openside Dafydd Stonelake who won a number of penalty turnovers during the game 👌🏻

Behind the pack, it was great to see young Rhys Davies getting the nod, capping a positive display with a second half try of his own 👏🏻 Confidence will breed confidence… well done Rhys 👍🏻 It was also great to see Arron Pinches starting for the first time this year and immediately bringing everything the Ironmen supporters have be treated to in recent years 🤙🏻

In an Ebbw shirt, young Joe Westward was the standout at 15, a very bright future awaits! Up front, another bright future awaits for Ebbw No.8 Ben Moa 👌🏻

With a gap of a fortnight to November 6th and the long trip north to RGC, the #Ironmen will I’m sure explore a penalty count that allowed Ebbw stay in touch, and another second half points deficit, albeit not one big enough to alter the result.

It’s two of the bounce and a win in this league should always be celebrated. Well done boys… enjoy tonight 🤙🏻

#TeamIronmen🖤💛💚
