The #Ironmen produced a strong performance, leaving Cardiff Arms Park with the win, the double over the #Rags, and a try bonus point, having amassed 45 points, and scoring seven tries in probably their most rounded performance of the season to date.
Try scores: Ben Jones, Arron Pinches, Paddy Mcbride, Justin James, Chris Phillips, Dafydd Stonelake, and Adam Hoskins.
Conversions. 5/7 by Gareth Thompson, which was top drawer in difficult kicking conditions.
MOTM. Justin James.
This win sees the Ironmen qualify from the East Division in third, securing a quarter final away at Aberavon RFC, who finished second the West division, Llandovery RFC having run out winners in the race for first place at Church Bank earlier this afternoon. A date for the quarter final is still to be confirmed.
The Ironmen now have a rest week, before welcoming the #Steelmen of Gwent, Ebbw Vale RFC to the Wern on December 11th for the first fixture in the league competition. The #Ironmen will hope that bumps to Phil Rees, Paddy Mcbride and Arron Pinches aren’t significant.
