It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of John Griff — a longstanding member, loyal supporter, and proud Life Member of Merthyr RFC.

A true part of our club’s heartbeat, John stood with us through every season, always encouraging, always committed, always showing the passion that makes this club special. His presence, his warmth, and his love for Merthyr Rugby will be deeply missed.

Our heartfelt condolences at this incredibly difficult time, go out to Justin and Fran, Judith and Simon, John’s grandchildren, and Avril. We hope all will find comfort in knowing how deeply respected and cherished John was by everyone at The Wern. #RIPJohn
