The Ironmen Start With A Late Win

Tries scored by Paddy Mcbride, Jack Kathrens & Daf Land, Ben Jones adding 2/3 conversions and a last minute penalty.

The #Ironmen will look to evaluate a slow start to the second half which allowed the Welsh All Blacks to build momentum, ex- Ironmen Morgs Meaclem with the pick of the days tries.

The #Ironmen stayed in the fight, drawing level courtesy of a Daf Land try converted by Ben Jones. Ben Jones then added a late late penalty to win the game.

Neath are a v.good side and have strengthened well through the summer. Not many will get change out of a trip to the Gnoll this season, so a scrappy win to kick the season off should be celebrated in that context! Win first even if not pretty. Well done boys 🤙🏻
