Denver Pursues A New Challenge With The Foxes

With today’s #TeamYouth presentation event marking the official end of a long season, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Gareth ‘Denver’ Williams, who concludes his long and hugely successful tenure as Head Coach of our #YoungIronmen

Denver has played an instrumental role in shaping one of the most successful periods in our youth setup, guiding the group to several league and cup titles (including sevens), but just as importantly, helping so many young players take their next steps into senior rugby. His influence can be seen across the club and beyond, with numerous players progressing into senior rugby with the Ironmen and neighbouring clubs, with several achieving representative honours with the Crawshays, Cardiff Age‑Grade, Dragons Age‑Grade, and Wales U18s.

Alongside the rugby success, Denver has helped create memories that will last a lifetime, from unforgettable tours to Spain and the South of France, Portugal, not to mention a once in a lifetime trip for some to Malaysia, to the countless moments of pride shared by players, families, and coaches alike.
