Admiral Premiership 2024-25

The #Ironmen began our 2024-25 Admiral Premiership campaign with a comfortable bonus point win away at Neath, courtesy of seven tries from six scorers, with Ben Jones adding ten points from the boot.

The Gnoll is never an easy place to get a result, a clinical first forty, converting pressure and capitalising on mistakes, the key difference, and allowing for the emptying of the bench through the second half.

A spirited second forty from Neath, a very capable side who will feature prominently this season, seen them bag three tries of their own, ex Aberavon scrum half Rhodri Cole pivotal in their ambition to quicken the tempo and play a more expansive style.

The #Ironmen will wait on news regarding an ankle injury to openside flanker, Kian Evans who left the field towards the end of the first half.

Gaz and Yanto will be fairly pleased with the overall performance and to get the show on the road after a long pre-season.

As for standouts, it will come as no surprise that Craig Locke put in a great shift, combative and aggressive. Ellis Shipp was dynamic, bagging two tries and perfect darts. Behind, the #Ironmen are blessed for choice, the whole backline looking dangerous with ball in hand, particularly in broken play.

Well done all.
