Honours finished even for Saturday’s #MerDow #DoubleHeader, Dowlais RFC (Seconds) securing the win over the #Athletic.

Another excellent advert for rugby family camaraderie in the town. An evenly contested game played in good spirits.

Down by a point with 10′ to play, the #Athletic pushed for a winning score, failing with a drop goal and then with a long range penalty as the clock turned red.

Well done to everyone involved. It was great to see so many people at the #Wern to support all four teams. 👏🏻👏🏻
